The death toll in an earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale (SR) on the island of Kyushu, Japan, on Saturday (16/04/2016) morning, continues to grow.
The latest report mentions the death toll already 19 people. The report was submitted Kumamoto Prefecture disaster management office, as quoted by CNN.

After the quake at 01:25 local time, the residents of the island was rocked back as many as 165 aftershocks, some of them measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale.
Local TV footage showed mostly deserted highways, broken glass in the streets and people gathered outside.
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yoshihide Suga, said 20,000 Japanese military forces were deployed to the area to rescue the victims.
The impact of the earthquake this morning is much greater than the earthquake measuring 6.2 on Thursday the Richter scale in the same area and reportedly killed nine people.
