FRANCIA RAISA IN SILENT ANTI-BULLYING SHORT FILM STRAIN


While there are plenty of huge Hollywood superstars out there, making big blockbuster movies and getting paid millions for their troubles, there are also some actors and actresses who set out to be involved in projects that mean something to them, without much in regards of payment.

One such actress is Francia Raisa, who has a role in the anti-bullying short film Strain, which is based on true events. Strain is written and directed by the Chang sister, MeloraLelina and Yin, who have all experience, witnessed and endured bullying at some point in their lives.
Yin said of the movie, "I created 'Strain' in hopes of raising awareness about bullying and the suicides that occur from being pushed too far, and to encourage bystanders to help the kids who are targeted," while Lelina added, "Our input from a high school perspective could make sure people would understand the message."

  Yin Chang really got into making the movie, admitting that it has given her a new-found respect for the industry and has made her more enthusiastic about making movies and telling stories on the screen, coming up with new and creative ideas along the way. STRAIN (THE SHORT MOVIE)
