Michigan Electoral Council Endorses Joe Biden's Win in 2020 US Elections

The Michigan Electoral Council on November 23 officially endorsed United States President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 elections. The ratification for Joe Biden's victory also blocked the way for US President Donald Trump who is trying to oppose the 2020 election results. The council stated that Joe Biden was superior to Trump by gaining nearly 156,000 votes. In addition, the ratification is also likely to end Trump's attempts to reverse the voting results in Michigan, which is one of the states he must excel in the election. Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed fraud in the elections held on November 3, 2020. In the claim without evidence that Trump was defeated because of the practice of voting fraud in the state. Trump immediately summoned Republican lawmakers in the state to Washington for talks, following the Democratic voting bag that includes Detroit passed last week's vote. Michigan State Secretary Jocelyn Benson said, the decision of a board made up of two Democrats and two Republicans, "affirms that elections are conducted fairly and safely, and the results accurately reflect the interests of voters." But the abstinent board member, a Republican, said it was "unacceptable" that many questions about the Michigan election remained unanswered, calling it a "national disgrace." The Michigan certification closes the door on one of the remaining avenues for Trump to try and reverse Biden's victory in the November 3 election with unsupported claims of mismanagement and fraud.
